The seaside city of Parksville has long been a destination for vacationers seeking sun, sand and relaxation. However, luxurious accommodations were often hard to come by, especially those with access to the famous Parksville Beach. Enter The Beach Club Resort, the newest luxury resort on Vancouver Island.

Located on Parksville Beach, the resort offers guests direct access to the warmest ocean swimming in Canada and a wide variety of festivals throughout the year, including the Canadian Open Sandcastle Festival. Director of Rooms Lisa Sessions is proud to offer an upscale resort in this unique area of British Columbia. “Parksville has everything a guest could ever want,” says Sessions. “The mountains, the beaches, the temperate climate and the warmest people you could ever find.”

Many resort properties claim to have ‘luxury accommodations’ but fail to deliver, so it’s nice to walk into a guest room that truly feels luxurious. Designed by Vancouver Island interior designer Kimberly Williams, the décor combines ocean-themed art and colours with tasteful furniture. The studio rooms are small but elegant, with a bar-sized fridge and two queen beds. The one-bedroom suites have a separate living area and bedroom, and an ensuite with soaker tub and walk-in shower. The kitchens in the one-bedrooms have granite counter tops and full-sized stainless steel appliances and come fully stocked with cooking and baking implements. Another perk of staying directly on the beach is the incredible views of the Strait of Georgia and Coastal Mountains. Every room includes a private balcony with bistro table and chairs for enjoying a beautiful West Coast sunrise or sunset.

Dining at The Beach Club Resort is yet another way to fully immerse yourself in the beachside atmosphere. The Pacific Prime Steak and Chop Restaurant has panoramic views of Parksville Beach and an outdoor One-bedroom suites at The Beach Club Resort

beachfront patio. The menu focuses on steaks, chops and locally sourced seafood and entrees are prepared with a Montague Legend Broiler, quick searing with 2500°F heat. The appetizer and dessert selections are unique and delicious—try the spicy Red Chili Paste Tiger Prawns before your meal and finish off with a Roast Pineapple Chop with Rosemary Whipped Cream.

The Resort has gone the extra mile to ensure you have all the amenities you need on hand with complimentary bell, valet and concierge services offered throughout your stay. The on-site fitness centre and indoor pool are both pleasant and well-equipped, with large windows overlooking the beach. The resort also has on-site pampering available at Stonewater Spa and Salon, with an intimate setting that feels peaceful and serene.

Although a newcomer to Parksville, The Beach Club Resort brings a much-needed luxurious accommodation choice to the market, and will certainly offer memorable vacation experiences for years to come.
