Harbour Air shows its appreciation for the support of the community by giving back in various ways. One of our contributions is to provide airfare for community events. We encourage your participation in these events.

For the second year in a row, the 7th Annual Camp Goodtimes Golf Classic will take place at its new home: Marine Drive Golf Club. The event, presented by The Globe and Mail, will be held Monday, September 24, 2007. All proceeds will go to Camp Goodtimes, an annual summer residential camp for kids aged 6-16 with a history of cancer. From September 26-30, 2007 The Old School House Arts Centre (TOSH) launches its 9th Music On Sunday concert season by presenting the 3rd annual Qualicum Beach Harvest of Music. This year’s headliners are the superb concert pianist Sara Davis Buechner, acoustic blues guitar legend Ken Hamm, Blues legend Ken Hamm plays the Qualicum Beach

renowned clarinetist Patricia Kostek and Tokyo-based traditional Japanese musicians Toshiya Mizukawa (shakuhachi) and Nahoko Ohata (koto). There will also be other concerts by leading professional musicians from B.C. and beyond, and a world music concert/workshop at TOSH, conducted by former Leningrad Symphony Orchestra percussionist and celebrated multi-instrumentalist Boris Sichon. Concerts will also be presented in every school in District 69 and in several seniors’ residences. The Nature Trust of British Columbia is hosting ‘A Lifetime of Giving Back’ gala dinner in honour of Patrick Oswald Sr. for his dedication to making a difference in the lives of British Columbians. The dinner will take place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Vancouver on September 27, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. World-renowned singers Leon and Eric Bibb will perform. Tickets are $300 per person. Gold Sponsorship tables are available for $5,000 which includes 8 tickets to the dinner as well as recognition at the event and on The Nature Trust website. The Canadian Mental Health Association, Richmond Branch, will host its second annual ‘Building Pathways for Hope’ fundraising dinner October 11, 2007. Join them in raising awareness of their rehabilitation programs for adults with serious and persistent mental illness through the Pathways Clubhouse. The programs create opportunities for members to return to school or university, gain employment, have a place to live, connect with their families, make new friends, and create multiple successes in dealing with their illness. The event, featuring an excellent dinner and live entertainment, will take place at the Riverside Palace Ballroom in Richmond.
