Harbour Air shows its appreciation for the support of the community by giving back in various ways. One of our contributions is to provide airfare for community events. Wonderful things are happening all over the West Coast—we encourage your participation in these events.

The Burnaby Association Community Inclusion (BACI) is hosting its ICE Gala fundraiser on Thursday, November 13 at the Electronic Arts complex in Burnaby. Guests will have an opportunity to try EA’s hot new games, meet Paralympics Gold Medal Winner Paul Gauthier, bid on silent auction items and enjoy live entertainment and the best local food and wine in BC.

Proceeds from the Dickens Dinner benefit the
Chilliwack Academy of Music.
The Burnaby Association for Community Inclusion is a non-profit organization that provides innovative support and services to over 600 children, youth and adults with disabilities and their families. BACI supports individuals to become fully participating members of their community and to pursue their interests and dreams. Proceeds from the ICE Gala fundraiser will directly benefit the children’s programs offered by BACI. For tickets or information, contact Carol Broomhall at 604.299.7851.

The Chilliwack Academy of Music’s Dickens Dinner is a festive holiday event that carries the themes of music and Charles Dickens throughout the evening. The enchanting event includes strolling carollers, readings from A Christmas Carol, a traditional beef dinner and Victorian-style decorations. The Dickens Dinner is being held at the beautiful Minter Gardens in Rosedale on Friday, December 5. All proceeds from the gala event will go towards the purchase of instruments and equipment needed by the Chilliwack Academy of Music for its exciting expansion into the new Chilliwack Cultural Centre. The Chilliwack Academy of Music provides high-quality music instruction and programming in all styles for students of all ages and abilities living in Chilliwack and the surrounding communities. Operating as a non-profit charitable society and a proud member of the B.C. Association of Community Music Schools, the Academy directly serves 800 students a year, from newborn through adult, who are taught by highly trained and experienced faculty.
