Harbour Air shows its appreciation for the support of the community by giving back in various ways. One of our contributions is to provide airfare for community events. We encourage your participation in these events.

On Saturday June 7, 2008 Big Heart Rescue Society will be throwing their 3rd Annual Spring Gala Dinner, Dance & Auction fundraiser. This year the gala will be held at the Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort and Spa in Victoria and will be their largest yet! The evening will help raise funds to save and care for many rescued animals. Big Heart Rescue is a registered non-profit charitable organization dedicated to improving the lives of companion animals that find themselves homeless, abused, neglected and/or in need of medical assistance by providing loving foster/adoptive homes and medical support. The event will consist of a fabulous buffet dinner, silent and live auctions auctioneered by golf pro Stormin’ Norm Jackson and hosted by A.J. and Crash of the JackFM Morning Show. Night at the Aquarium promises to
be a gala event (Vancouver Aquarium)On June 13, the Vancouver Aquarium opens its doors to the public for its annual gala fundraiser, Night at the Aquarium. Set amidst beguiling aquariums filled with multi-coloured fish and aquatic flora, and in plain view of the nocturnal play of otters and Beluga whales, Aquarium President John Nightingale will welcome 700 of Vancouver’s philanthropic and corporate leaders to join him for a rare glimpse into the vibrant, entertaining and informative world beneath the waves. This special evening will feature live performances by local artists, as well as culinary delights from prominent Vancouver restaurants participating in the Aquarium’s Ocean Wise seafood conservation program. There will also be an opportunity to bid on a range of unique gifts and ‘experiences’ through Night at the Aquarium’s signature live and silent auctions.
