Tee-off for charityThe 15th Annual Peninsula Co-op Charity Golf Classic will be held on May 18, 2007 to benefit the Victoria Epilepsy and Parkinson’s Centre. Funds raised will help the Victoria Centre expand its services to children and youth with epilepsy and their families as well as provide services to those with early onset Parkinson’s. The sun is shining, the greens are fast and that can only mean one thing—it’s time to book for the 12th Annual Golf for Health Tournament, happening June 8, 2007 at Big Sky Golf and Country Club. Continuing with tradition, the Pemberton and District Health Care Foundation is organizing this charitable event to help provide much-needed medical equipment not covered by the provincial government. The event is sponsored by North Shore Credit Union, Pemberton Valley Supermarket and Frontier Street Pharmacy IDA. There will be Hole-In-One prizes, and even the chance of winning a Brand New Car!
