Harbour Air shows its appreciation for the support of the community by giving back in various ways. One of our contributions is to provide airfare for community events. We encourage your participation in these events.

The Bacchanalia Gala Dinner and Auction is the centerpiece of the Vancouver Playhouse International Wine Festival and one of the most spectacular events in the city. A must for any serious wine collector, the evening provides an unparalleled opportunity to enhance your wine cellar through auctions of rare, valuable and unusual wines donated by some of the world’s top winemakers and private collectors. Experience the ultimate in wine and food pairing: a Champagne reception, two wines per course, five courses. The Fairmont Vancouver’s Executive Chef Robert LeCrom creates a series of gastronomic delights that will leave your senses reeling.

Since its inception, the festival has raised $6.3 million for the Playhouse, helping it mount 209 theatrical productions and to create extensive educational and community outreach programs.

Langley Meals on Wheels Services Society is a non-profit, volunteer-supported society that supplies home delivered and community dining programs in the City and the Township of Langley, and will be celebrating 30 years of service to the community in 2009. Langley Meals on Wheels has served a total of 16,768 meals in 2008, which are all delivered by dedicated volunteers.

Langley Meals on Wheels is excited to announce their Easter Basket Raffle: the first prize includes return airfare for two between Langley and Victoria, one night accommodation in Victoria at Trutch Manor Inn, and a fantastic gift basket—and the prizes don’t stop there! There are two more sensational packages offered in the raffle. Tickets are available for purchase through April 8 at Langley’s two ABC Restaurants and Langley Meals on Wheels. All funds raised from the raffle will assist Langley Meals on Wheels.
