Harbour Air shows its appreciation for the support of the community by giving back in various ways. One of our contributions is to provide airfare for community events. We encourage your participation in these events.

The 14th Annual Peter Legge Charity Golf Classic happens July 21 at the members-only private golf club, The Vancouver Golf Club in Coquitlam. Over the past thirteen years this event has raised over $550,000 for many very worthwhile British Columbia charities. The 18th Island at Meadow Gardens Golf Club, host of

The very deserving 2008 beneficiaries are: Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation, The Salvation Army and Coquitlam Foundation. The Peter Legge Charity Golf Classic brings together an impressive array of community, business and media leaders for a fun day of golf in a beautiful setting. Contests and entertainment are provided on the course from a host of fabulous sponsors. This tournament always sells out. After retiring from his outstanding hockey career, Richard Brodeur launched the annual Richard Brodeur Celebrity Classic event, which supports varied worthy causes in our community and all over British Columbia. This year, the proceeds from the 9th tournament will benefit the BC Prader-Willi Syndrome Association, the BC Hockey Benevolent Association (for their work with Camp Goodtimes) and The Foyer Maillardville Hospice. The event will be held August 7 at the Meadow Gardens Golf Club in Pitt Meadows and will feature Presenting funds raised at the 2007 Peter Legge Charity Golf

a socially relaxed tournament comprised of 36 teams with three golfers, each joined by a member of the 1982 Canucks or another celebrity from the world of sports, entertainment and broadcasting. It will also offer an exciting program of prize packages, live entertainment, a sumptuous dinner and much more!
