Harbour Air shows it appreciation for the support of the community by giving back in various ways. One of our contributions is to provide airfare for community events. We encourage your participation in these events.

On a cold February night, escape to the charms of old-world Italy…Be a part of Divertimento, a warm festive evening in support of the Vancouver Chamber Choir’s community outreach and educational programs. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m., on February 20 at La Piazza Dario Ristorante Italiano (3075 Slocan Street, Vancouver), where guests will savour the authentic Italian cuisine and enjoy the fun of silent and live auctions. Tables of six or eight may be reserved, or guests can purchase individual tickets and meet new friends over music, a five-course dinner and wine. The Vancouver Chamber Choir is a non-profit society founded in 1971 by Conductor and Artistic Director Jon Washburn that consists of a professional 20-voice choral ensemble. In addition to their extensive touring and concert series, the Vancouver Chamber Choir provides award-winning educational programs for conductors, composers and singers of all ages. Presented by the Francophone Association of Nanaimo (L’AFN) and Canadian Maple Delights the 9th Annual Maple Sugar Festival takes place from February 19-22. The festival is a bilingual event that celebrates the cultures and traditions of eastern Canada. The kickoff event is a francophone art show at the Nanaimo Art Gallery on February 19. The festival takes place at Beban Park from February 20-22, where the public will experience an array of activities celebrating Acadian culture; have the opportunity to see national and local performers such as “New Orleans own Rockin’ Fiddler” Waylon Thibodeaux, view elaborate ice sculpture creations and sample the world-famous, trademark, mouthwatering maple toffee on snow! The festival will wrap up at the Port Theatre on February 25 with a fiery performance from the dynamic group The McDades.
