A New Year Brings New Ways to Give

Harbour Air shows its appreciation for the support of the community by giving back in various ways. One of our contributions is to provide airfare for community events. We encourage your participation in these events.

With great food, interesting sport personalities and awesome auction items, the 15th Annual JCC Sports Dinner is a winning event. The dinner takes place on February 18 at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver. The evening will help to raise funds for the Jewish Community Centre’s operating budget where vital funding is needed to provide athletic, recreational, social and educational programming. One of the highlights this year will be the presentation of the Jack Diamond Sports Personality of the Year Award. This award recognizes a local individual who has demonstrated a competitive and cooperative spirit, excelled in the field of sport and made positive contributions to the community. This year’s recipient is Ron Toigo, President of the Vancouver Giants. In addition to the delicious food and the outstanding company, the JCC Sports Dinner also has a long-standing history of providing vibrant and entertaining guest speakers. The 2008 Guest Speaker will be professional golfer, Gary McCord. As always the evening will include a raffle, door prizes and a live and silent auction.
