Every Feruary for the last four decades, boating enthusiasts have welcomed the boating season with the Vancouver International Boat Show (VIBS). Now in its 46th year, VIBS is Western Canada’s largest boat show. Th is one-stop shop features over 300 exhibitors showcasing the latest and greatest in kayaks, canoes, gear and boats for every budget from inflatables to luxury motoryachts. And this year the Boat Show hosts “Rail Jam”, featuring North America’s top wakeboarders.

Hang around after the show for a rare meet-and-greet with the wakeboarders.

“Wakeboarding has taken off with a new generation of boating enthusiasts,” says Jennifer Kastelein, Show Manager.“As much as we expect a younger crowd to come out for Rail Jam, I think fans of every age will enjoy the energy, the sound and the incredible skill of these athletes.”

For new or seasoned traditional enthusiasts, visit the brand new Discover Boating Centre where you can speak to experts in a relaxed “sales-free” environment and learn more about boating courses, safety information and just about any other boating concern.

Another feature of the Boat Show is Sailfest, where you’ll find the latest in sails, winches and biminis, and information on sailing schools and destinations. The new product showcase is a highlight for gearheads. Check out the Seminar Stage with over 30 scheduled speakers off ering tips and tricks on just about any boating topic under the sun. And of course, what would a boat show be without the opportunity to shop for the best boat deals of the year?
